About this piece
This flash piece is inspired by Catwoman from DC Comics, focusing on the character’s sleek costume, sharp expression, and connection to high-stakes jewel heists. I wanted the design to feel mysterious and confident, with Catwoman holding a glowing diamond against a stylized Gotham City backdrop. The deep blacks, purples, bright blues, and neon-like highlights give the piece a dramatic nighttime feel while keeping that bold comic book and new school style. I’d like this piece to be done rather large and take up a good portion of whichever body part we choose. The larger size will give the portrait, hands, diamond, cityscape, and smaller graphic details enough room to stay clean and readable while allowing the overall composition to make a bigger impact.
