About this piece
This flash piece is inspired by Izuku Midoriya (Deku) from My Hero Academia, focusing on his younger, more innocent appearance before becoming the hero we know today. I wanted to capture his excitement and optimism through his big smile, bright green eyes, and messy green hair. The U.A. High School uniform, red tie, and yellow backpack straps help bring out that nostalgic, early-series look. The clean linework, vibrant greens, and simple composition make this a fun, recognizable design without needing a complicated background. It's a great piece for anyone who loves My Hero Academia, Deku's journey, or the more lighthearted side of anime. This piece can work palm - hand-sized or larger depending on the placement we choose. Giving it enough room will help preserve the facial expression, individual hair shapes, uniform details, and smooth color transitions while keeping the overall design clean and readable.
