About this piece
This flash piece is inspired by Mysterio from Spider-Man, focusing on his iconic fishbowl helmet, green suit, gold armor, purple cape, and theatrical illusion-based style. I wanted the helmet to be the main focus, using deep purples and glowing yellow details inside the glass to give it a mysterious, otherworldly feel. The surrounding green smoke and exaggerated reaching hand add movement and depth, making the design feel like Mysterio is emerging directly out of one of his illusions. I’d like this piece to be done rather large and take up a good portion of whichever body part we choose. The larger size will give the helmet, reflective glass, armor, hand, smoke, and smaller costume details enough room to stay clean and readable while allowing the overall composition to make a bigger impact.
