About this piece
This flash piece is inspired by Kon from Bleach, reimagining his iconic lion plush form dressed as a Soul Reaper. I wanted to combine Kon’s goofy, expressive personality with the traditional Soul Reaper uniform for a design that feels playful while still being instantly recognizable as Bleach. The oversized head, dramatic expression, flowing robes, and small uniform details work especially well with the smooth black and grey shading. I’d like this piece to be done around hand-sized or larger. This gives the face, clothing, accessories, and shading enough room to stay clean and readable while still making it flexible for different placements.
